Rapid Housing Initiative 3 - Hill Plain

Alexis Nakota Sioux Nation is proposing to build 62 homes to house their community members. Project activities include; various levels of clearing and grubbing, the installation of access driveways, possible removal of existing structures, construction of foundations, backfill and grading, the installation of utilities and services including water and sewer as well as power and communication lines.

04-28-2023 – The public comment period on the project is closed. Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation is considering comments received to help inform its determination on whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
