Access to heritage homes in the Grande Grave area PRO-1686

The work covered by this analysis concerns the construction of access roads and parking lots for the four heritage houses and some of the outbuildings, located at the Grande-Grave heritage site along Boulevard de Grande-Grève in Forillon Park (Gaspé). The work includes, but is not limited to: 1. Construction of the parking lots at the locations shown on the plans, including excavation, backfilling, infrastructure preparation, drainage elements, granular foundation, traffic management and pedestrian access (paths around the perimeter of the work area); 2. Removal and reinstallation of existing vertical signage, if required; 3. Supply and installation of materials required for access construction. 4. Excavations required for installation of structures; 5. Backfilling of excavations and compaction; 6. Cleaning and maintenance of the worksite, access roads and Grande-Grève Boulevard during construction, when required and soiled by worksite activities; 7. Occupational health and safety management of the work.

October 26, 2023 – The public comment period on the project is closed. Parks Canada is considering comments received to help inform its determination on whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
