Temagami First Nation Outdoor Cultural Spaces

Temagami First Nation will expand the outdoor ceremony space at the Family Healing and Wellness Centre on Bear Island. The new yard will be approximately 70,000 square feet, and include a new arbour for sacred fire.

August 28, 2023 – Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs Canada (CIRNAC) issued its Notice of Determination and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
