Duncan's First Nation New Subdivision - 22 units

Duncan First Nation plans to build a new subdivision for 22 residential housing units. The project will occur within ATS section 16-82-25-W5M. The proposed work will include vegetation clearing and construction of a road surface and 22 bordering subdivision lots. The road surface will be 8 m wide with a 1 m wide ditch, with a total right of way width of 30m. The road will tie-in to Range Road 254 and Township Road 822. PVC sanitary pipe and water main pipe will also be installed. The total project footprint is 70,000 square meters.


Latest update

May 21, 2024 – Indigenous Services Canada intends to make a determination regarding whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting public comments Impact Assessment Agency of Canada (iaac-aeic.gc.ca) until June 20, 2024 respecting the determination.
