Construction of a new pediatric center "Mamonitokiwan center"

The future pediatric center will be built in the community of Opitciwan. More precisely, the project is located on Sikon Street, near the intersection with Amiskw Street, in Opitciwan. A building as well as a parking lot for employees and beneficiaries will be constructed. The footprint of this project is 7370 m2.

Latest update

June 16, 2023 – The public comment period on the project is closed. Indigenous Services Canada is considering comments received to help inform its determination on whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
