Québec – June 21, 2023 – Indigenous Services Canada has determined that the proposed Underground stormwater retention basin project of the Chevreuil outfall project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.

This determination was based on a consideration of the following factors:

• technically and economically feasible mitigation measures.

Mitigation measures for this determination considered:

• Protection of migratory birds
• Surface water protection
• Fish Habitat Protection
• Soil protection
• Air protection
• Well-being and safety of the population
