Notice of intent to make a determination
Black River First Nation Watermain Renewal Project – Public Comments InvitedDecember 20, 2022 – Indigenous Services Canada must determine whether the proposed Black River First Nation Watermain Renewal Project, located in Black River First Nation is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination.

The Proposed Project |
The project will involve installing 600 m of watermain piping and 21 service lines, to replace existing piping throughout the community. Watermain piping is to be installed along roadway right-of-way. The service lines are to be installed in frontages of homes.
