The Proposed Project
The project scope includes designing, fabricating, and delivering new stoplogs, one stoplog storage rack, and one concrete pad for the storage rack. The concrete pad will be installed near the west approach of the dam, with approximate dimensions of 8 x 4 meters.
The Portage Dam is located in the rural Dokis reserve on the French River. The concrete pad will be installed on an existing gravel surface (within 10-30 metres of the water). The surroundings of the concrete pad include gravel, rock, some small vegetation and water.
