In accordance with section 82 of the Impact Assessment Act, the Commission of the Canada Energy Regulator (Commission) has determined that the Application for Leave to Abandon Pipelines under Order MO-071-2018 is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects to federal lands.

In making its determination with respect to the project on federal lands, the Commission considered the factors listed in subsection 84(1) of the Impact Assessment Act. No issues or concerns were raised by Indigenous peoples or the public regarding the use of federal lands for the project.
