need to consider alternatives to new nuclear at Wesleyville

Text

I understand that Ontario Power Generation claims that there is no technically and economically feasible alternatives to a nuclear power station at the Wesleyville site. That claim needs to be evaluated rather than accepted by a biased proponent. On the face of it, there are many obvious alternatives, the most obvious being a combination of offshore wind power and battery storage. The IAAC should accept and investigate submissions on these alternatives.
