Cost-Benefit Decision-Making

Text

I urge the appropriate government agencies to reconsider this costly and low-benefit energy project. Relative to nuclear energy, clean energy sources such as solar and wind are much more cost-effective in that they are cheaper to obtain/build and would ensure lower electricity costs for Ontarians going forward, relative to the cost of electricity if we build a nuclear reactor. There is a clear cost-benefit difference with clean energy sources which the government should consider in it's decision-making. Governments should spend people's money wisely and based on evidence, as opposed to based on special interests and construction lobbyists.
