NWMO come out with what they labeled Canadas Plan for the DGR in Northwestern Ontario-so lets break down how it was done by NWMO-I will talk about the mental and social aspects of their plan and how it is affecting the people in Northwestern Ontario-some people have called it bribery corruption but I will call there actions criminal-first off the Chiefs of Ontario the Nan Chief the Treaty 3 Chief and the Land Defence Alliance in Treaty 3 all sent letters to NWMO and the Federal Minister Jonathan Wilkinson and now Tim Hodgson stating no to the DGR-they turned a deaf ear-NWMO is the most corrupt group that we have ever seen in Canada backed by the Federal Gov't-we where told long before they came to our area from other groups and municipalitys not to trust-they more than lived up to reputation-they have constant verbal diahrea meaning constant lies and will never answer questions-they have split communitys families and no respect to the people at all-lets talk about Ignace first-they had a vote with close to 1000 persons that could vote and hired a group to talk with the residents first-close to half of the residents refused to vote yet the vote was 77 percent in favour of the DGR-lets take it one step further- 16 and 17 year olds where allowed to vote-this is a Federal project and the biggest DGR ever attempted in the world and 16 and 17 year olds where allowed to vote-second problem is Ignace put their hand up for the DGR and the problem was it is two jurisdictions out of the town of Ignace and in the Dyment and Dinorwic jurisdiction-none of these residents where not allowed to vote and some being as close as 6 kilometers away- when Wabigoon First Nation voted the same thing happened as 16 and 17 year olds where allowed to vote-out of province and country where allowed to vote-people in Florida Missouri and British Columbia-but the people in Northwestern Ontario have no vote
