I live along Highway 17 in in Northeastern Ontario and have been resident of Northeastern Ontario for 47 years so I'm very very knowledgeable about safty issues regarding transportation in this area. There are frequent accidents especially in the winter months involving commercial vehicles. I don't believe the transportation of dangerous goods can be done safely especially with the huge volume anticipated over our highways 11 or 17 in Northestern and Northwestern Ontario. Accidents will happen.

On a more general theme, nuclear energy is very expensive, take years to permit and build and is inherently dangerous to operate plus from an engineering perspective there is no experience storing dangerous materials for hundreds of thousands of years to insure safety. The whole idea just seems bizarre when we have safe, reliable and inexpensive energy and storage at hand with very short lead time to build.
