My comments and reaction to the initial project description:
1. There is no honest description of need for a DGR.
2. There is a lack of a comprehensive safety plan.
3. There is a total dismissal of responsibility for a comprehensive transportation plan. Lack of understanding and awareness of the serious concerns voiced by Canadian residents about transportation.
4. Lack of transparency and accountability by NWMO. Limited consent or acknowledgement of Indigneous people land and treaty rights. There was never a measurement for informed or willing host.
5.No acknowledgment that a project of this scope is of high risk and potential for unplanned and unintended consequences.I request that transportation be included in the assessment process. Transportation is an essential component of this project thus should not be omitted.
Further more I request that a full impact assessment with public hearings be conducted.
Goven short time frame for input I will continue to provide feedback.
