Deep Geological Repository (DGR) for Canada's Used Nuclear Fuel Project
We need a comprehensive risk assessment

There should absolutely be a robust risk assessment undertaken regarding the transportation of radioactive materials that will be travelling on public and private roads in Canada.
Furthermore, we don't have a realistic plan of how we will be taking care of the nuclear waste that we have stored in Canada. Given the global impacts of climate change, and the ongoing impacts of the COVID pandemic, and future pandemics, it seems unwise to be undertaking plans to move and store waste that will take 100s to 1000s of years to decompose/become "benign". We don't know that we will have the people, the knowledge, or the language to care for this waste for that long.
we should be divesting from this technology as the limited benefits do not remotely outweigh the risks to our future.
