I think the whole waste removal, transportation and placing in the ground requires a full environmental assessment. The transportation particularly is extremely unsafe, never mind what other things are transported unsafely now. The idea, in this climate crisis age that you can store anything permanently is very questionable with the earth reacting to earthquakes etc,the melting of glaciers etc.
I know I don't sound very eloquent or learned on this. But the whole plan is so ridiculous that I had to write something to the decision makers. I am not trying to be rude. I am sure a lot of work and money went into this. But we can and must do better.
