It is incomprehensible that communities through which this nuclear waste will travel dont have to endorse it. Travel through Northwestern Ontario is notoriously dangerous. There has not been enough study and consultation with the communities through which this dangerous material will pass. It is completely unfair that the only communities with veto power are the potential storage communities. Clearly, many more people are affected than in those communities. What is the reason for not consulting those people? The people of Northwestern Ontario do not use nor benefit from nuclear energy - why should we be endangered by the waste????
