General Support for the DGR Project

First, I would like to say that I am grateful to Wabigoon Lake Ojibway First Nation for their willingness to accept this project on their traditional lands. To support Ontario's electricity needs, nuclear energy provides a stable baseload for us and in return, we need to be responsible in how we deal with the nuclear waste. The report looks to be a promising and thoughtful assessment of the potential impacts on the environment and I hope that this direction continues, along with dialogue from First Nations in the region. I voice my general support for the Deep Geological Repository Project.
