The transportation of the spent fuel along the major highways must absolutely be a part of the project assessment. Over 160 years I can imagine that an accident would be a matter of when and not if. The implications of nuclear waste spilled along these highways is horrific.

Please plan the transportation with the same high standard you would with any other aspect of a nuclear program. It could be arranging police escorts, maximum speed limits, special containers that can withstand damage. I don't really know, I am not an expert. But factoring this into the plan is a necessity.
