The transportation of spent nuclear waste to the dgr is excluded from the IPD. I ask for a full impact assessment on the project and public hearing and that the transportation is included in this very risky and controversial project. This project is not the question of trust, NWMO has to proof that it is safe. It is mentioned that the project is needed for permanent and safe disposal for used nuclear fuel. This statement is not proof that the waste will be contained forever. It is not proven permanent and safe. The dgr is an experiment, nowhere done in the world. He dgr will need future generations oversight and monitoring for the radioactive toxic waste escaping in the environment. NWMO puts future generations at risk for devastating pollution and checking and overseeing any break down in the 5 barriers and no solution or plan for clean up. Also a detailed project description is required to address gaps and shortcomings in the IPD. The comment period is too short. Extended time for future comment periods requested. The packaging of the spent fuel in the transportation containers and transferring the spent fuel again at the dgr site is asking for more accidents and releases of radioactive material. Also all the spent fuel is at a central site and makes reprocessing for weapons and bombs an possibility and Nwmo told us in south Bruce that they were working on it.
