The Land is Us

As a First Nations youth in Thunder Bay, I understand our relationship to the land as reciprocal, and we have responsibilities to care for another Earth. North Western Ontario has some of the most untouched forests and thriving moose populations in Canada. Putting NWMO waste site here is a direct disrespect to Indigenous youth who will face the impacts of this project. Our lands, our animals, our waters, our trees matter more than jobs ever will to us. Jobs come and go, our lands will face these impacts forever.
