There is no way around it. You can minimize it by burying waste from generation of nuclear energy but enough of it will eventually leak and find its way into our biosphere to cause damage to all life forms. This can and will happen during operation , ttransportation and storage.There is no safe known method of long term storage.
This reason alone demands that we find better , cheaper, safer options for generation of power in Canada.
