Transportation of Nuclear Waste in Northwest Ontario

Surely, there must be a better plan to dispose of nuclear waste than the one proposed by the NWMO? Numerous transport trucks hauling high-level nuclear waste through incredibly sensitive wilderness seems pretty dumb, considering the reporting and documentation of transport truck accidents in these areas over the years. Nothing about this is good. And to think it could get even far worse with the incredibly corrupt Ford government we already have sitting in Queen's Park.
