I strongly urge you to abandon the transport policy of nuclear waste through Northern Ontario.

I CAN NOT imagine a scenario where transporting nuclear waste daily along the highway 17 route might be safe. I travel the same corridor to work every day. In Northern Ontario it is a two lane highway that is congested, often crossed by animals and is regularly impeded by severe weather. There are often issues with transports in the ditches or in severe accidents. It would take only one accident to make life untenable in our region and would most likely kill many of us outright. This transport proposal is an insanity that undervalues life of us northerners.
