My opposition to nuclear power

Text

There is an assumption by those operating existing and proposing new nuclear power plants that they can be safely operated, including safely managing their waste and emissions.  They cannot. Radioactive waste is some of the most toxic and dangerous substances in the world. Material entropy means that material cannot be contained over time. Radioactive waste and emissions will move and disperse. Because of their incredible toxity to life and the environment, we must not create these substances. It is sheer arrogance to think they can be safely managed. In summary--stop building and operating nuclear power plants!!!
