Referendum NOW!

First, I object to the way millions of dollars have been spent to 'woo' struggling communities and force this project through. The accountability is shameful. The thousands of people who would be critically impacted if there was an accident is outrageous and a handful of people have the power to flood our haighways with dangerous materials. There should be a referendum. Period. 

As a resident along the proposed road (and possibly rail) transportation routes, I object  to the NWMO's proposed project and to their attempt to exclude transportation from examination by the Impact Assessment Agency of Canada. The Nuclear Waste Management Organization’s plan to transport, process and bury all of Canada’s nuclear fuel waste at a site between Ignace and Dryden in northwestern Ontario will transporting highly radioactive waste and 160 years of operation, leaving150,000 tonnes of the radioactive waste underground in the headwaters of the Wabigoon and Turtle-Rainy River watersheds.
