I live in Northern Ontario, close to Highway 17 and I am concerned about the safety of the transportation of the nuclear waste. I have heard that the transportation will be done by trucks and I worry about the safety of these trucks travelling near my home with this dangerous cargo. How will the trucks be adapted to keep everyone safe? What if a truck is in an accident (not uncommon on our winter roads)? What safety procedures will be in place?
