Modernization and complete replacement of the Le Passage lookout
This is a non-designated project on federal lands or outside Canada. The listed authorities are responsible for the project assessment.
A favorite site of La Mauricie National Park, Le Passage lookout offers a spectacular view of Wapizagonke Lake. It is located on the Promenade road between the Saint-Jean-des-Piles (35 km) and Saint-Mathieu (28 km) entrances. Parks Canada is planning a modernization project to completely replace the wooden structures of the existing lookouts and asphalt trails at the end of their useful life. This project will help meet the agency's asset planning and visitor experience objectives.
