Driftpile Cree Nation Lift Station No. 1 Replacement Project

Drfitpile Cree Nation proposes to construct a new lift station and generator in the parking lot of the community hall in NW 21-73-12-W5M. The proposed project also includes a new gravity sewer and manholes from the existing lift station to the new one, and the installation of a new forcemain connecting the lift station to the wastewater treatment facility on NE 21-73-12-W5M, which will be approximately 2.6 km in length.

Activities of the proposed project will include clearing of trees and shrubs along the pipeline, and installation of the gravity sewer by open-cut means. Installation of the forcemain is expected to require open-pit excavations.
