White Lake Partial Wharf Removal

Fisheries and Oceans Canada's Small Craft Harbours (SCH) intends to remove a portion of the exisitng wharf at White Lake Small Craft Harbour. The end of the wharf has deteriorated over time and SCH intends to remove the end portion to maintain structure safety and integrity. This work includes removal of the existing concrete deck and steel components over an area of approximately 5.5m2.

Notice of Intent to Make a Determination – Start of Public Comment Period

January 24, 2023 – Fisheries and Oceans Canada intends to make a determination regarding whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, Fisheries and Oceans Canada is inviting public comments until February 23, 2023 respecting that determination.
