Repair Culvert on Ganong Street- 5th Canadian Division Support Base, Gagetown

The Department of National Defence (DND) has proposed a project. Ganong Street is a primary Main Supply Route that experiences very high traffic volume as it directly connected to Route 102 and serves as the entrance for traffic entering and leaving 5 Canadian Division Support Base Gagetown from the north. The existing culvert crossing is a 28-meter-long culvert in a deteriorated condition. The project will consist of replacing the existing culvert with a new watercourse crossing structure designed to pass fish and designed for a minimum 100-year flood occurrence. Additionally, due to the traffic conditions on the road, the roadway must accommodate CL 625 highway loading.

Latest update
