Sheshatshiu School Expansion and Renovation

The project will involve the design of a new 1551m2 expansion/renovation to the existing Sheshatshiu school. Project activities include site grading, repaving parking lot, extension of water main and connections into existing water/waste water infrastructure, construction of the East Addition (694m2), construction of South Addition (813m2) and construction of Rear Addition (44m2).

June 15, 2022 – Indigenous Services Canada intends to make a determination regarding whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting public comments until July 15, 2022 respecting the determination.
