North Caribou Lake First Nation - Lot Servicing for Housing Development

North Caribou Lake First Nation is proposing a subdivision servicing project. The proposed project would include site preparations (e.g., clearing), extension of service piping, hydro connection, construction of driveway/culverts. These lots are located in parallel to Ernies Road, and the plan is to eventually connect the lot to the Airport Road.


Latest update

July 3, 2022 – The public comment period on the project is closed. Indigenous Services Canada issued its notice of determination and determined that the project is not likely to cause adverse environmental effects.

June 03, 2022 – Indigenous Services Canada intends to make a determination regarding whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting public comments until July 3, 2022 for comments respecting the determination.
