Marginal Wharf Reconstruction, Port aux Choix, NL

DFO, Small Craft Harbour is proposing to construct a new marginal wharf in front of the existing Port aux Choix wharf. The existing wharves, located behind the new structure, will be demolished down to LNT. The area between the wharves will be infilled to create a new uplands area. The new cribwork wharf footprint will measure approximately 1470 m2 . The cribs are to be installed on a rock mattress.

February 1, 2024 – The authorities issued their Notice of Determination and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
