Peters First Nation Gravel Pit Activation

Peters First Nation proposes to activate a gravel pit roughly 20 km west of Hope, BC. The purpose is to develop a nearby source of gravel and other earth materials for band use and economic development. The proposed pit will be located on Peters Island, adjacent to the Fraser River. There is an anticipated volume of 360,000 cubic meters of material in this deposit.  The pit is expected to have an estimated life of 3-5 years.
