Beaverton Small Craft Harbour Platform Removal

The Corporation of the Township of Brock is planning to remove 2 concrete platforms located on federal property at Beaverton Small Craft Harbour. Small equipment and hand tools will be utilized to saw cut and jack hammer exisitng concrete platforms. No in-water work is to be conducted to complete this project however a silt curtain will be utilized and installed around the immediate project areas for it's duration. 

Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Small Craft Harbours Branch, must determine whether the proposed Beaverton Small Craft Harbour Platform Removal is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.To help inform this determination, Fisheries and Oceans Canada is inviting comments from the public respecting that determination.

November 1, 2021 – Fisheries and Oceans Canada Small Craft Harbours has issued it's Notice of Determination and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
