This project is short sighted in nature and does not align with the liveability targets of a growing city. With a projected growth rate of 25%, ensuring a liveable and welcoming space for Torontonians is of utmost importance. Calm park space, berief of the constant drone of subways is critical to this. The residential neighbourhoods adjacent to the line cannot survive with this type of intrusion. Furthermore, the sequelae of the Ontario line has not been studied with a thorough impact assessment. The call for this study has been ignored and this shows disregard for those the line impacts.

As a physician I see the health impacts of an above ground ontario line. Namely, dhildren will be undully impacted through noise pollution, lack of nature space and increase in regional pollution.

We have an opportunity to make this city infinitely better than it already is, bury the Ontario Line! Improve neighbourhoods and keep the population healthier.
