Cedar Beach Minor Dredging

The Town of Kingsville, with the approval of Fisheries and Oceans Canada, wishes to remove approximately 900 cubic feet of built up sand that has deposited within the entrance channel at Cedar Beach, ON and is causing a hazard to marine navigation. Dredged material is to be redeposited on the beach which is believed to be the source.

September 18, 2020 – The public comment period on the project is closed. Fisheries and Oceans Canada is considering comments received to help inform its determination on whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
