Lighting and Pathway Upgrades

Woodside National Historic Site will repair and renew some of the pathway, driveway, electrical, and lighting features around the property from the parking lot to the house including the picnic shelter and maintenance garage areas. These upgrades will improve operational maintenance, energy efficiency with LED lighting, drainage, as well as visitor experience and safety at the site.

July 16, 2020 – Parks Canada intends to make a determination regarding whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, Parks Canada is inviting public comments until August 15 2020 respecting that determination.
