Alberta Zero Emissions Truck Electrification Collaboration Fueling Station

The proposed project involves the development and demonstration of a cost-effective 450 m2 hydrogen fueling station for highway capable, zero-emission, heavy-duty commercial fleet vehicles, located at the Edmonton International Airport near Edmonton, Alberta. The project includes the following physical activities: site preparation, construction of a 140 m2 concrete pad on which the fueling equipment will sit, installation of fueling equipment and fencing, and operation of the hydrogen fueling station.

June 24, 2020 – Natural Resources Canada intends to make a determination regarding whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, Natural Resources Canada is inviting public comments until July 24, 2020 respecting that determination.
