WireIE (Canada) Inc. - Radiocommunication Tower - Torquay Border Crossing, Hwy 350, Torquay SK

WireIE (Canada) Inc. proposes to build a 36.4 metre self-supporting communications tower to enhance communication to the Canada Border Services Agency office, adjacent to Provincial Highway No. 350 (CS 350-01), in the SE¼ 1-1-12-W2M; Torquay Border Crossing, Hwy 350, Torquay SK.  The tower will include a 1.83m parabolic antenna transmitting in the 11GHz frequency band. This new tower may undergo future modifications or the addition/replacement of antennas.

Notice of Intent to Make a Determination – Start of Public Comment Period

2020-05-07 – Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada intends to make a determination regarding whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.  To help inform this determination, Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada is inviting public comments until 2020-06-06 respecting that determination. .
