Impact Assessment Period for Suncor Base Mine Expansion Proposal

I am inquiring to determine if there is any way that individuals or groups can comment on this proposed expansion plan of the Suncor Base Mine Project,

 

If it is possible is there a deadline date for submissions and when is the date.

 

My concern is that in the executive summary other than the Aboriginal Consultation office there is no mention of any free prior and informed consent to consult with Indigenous Persons and Treaty People who are not of Indigenous background. (UNDRIP)

 

I am a grandfather of 4 status First Nation granddaughters under the age of consent. Oldest is nine years of age.

 

I am concerned about the future health and well - being for all life of any age.

 

I strongly believe an Environmental Impact Assessment should be held with regard to this project.
