Re-Surface Parking Lot at Detachment

The project is to replace the existing asphalt laneway and parking area due to life cycle replacement. The surface area of the asphalt is approximately 2,100 square metres. The location of this detachment is 4485, rue du Moulin, Tracadie-Sheila, NB, and is located 1km off exit 365 of 11 Hwy. It was constructed in 1992-1993 and has a building footprint of approximately 700 sq. metres. Adjacent to the property is a commercial plaza. 500 metres to the east is Rue Principale Bridge which runs over a river, approximately 5km away from the Acadian Peninsula.

30 March 2020 – The public comment period on the project is closed. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police is considering comments received to help inform its determination on whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
