Cogswell District Redevelopment Program, Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM) Activities on Department of National Defence (DND) Property

Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM) has initiated a Cogswell District Redevelopment Program that includes a roundabout structure. To facilitate its construction, HRM is proposing to conduct work on Department of National Defence (DND) property at the Dockyard. Proposed activities include building/structure demolition and removal, roadwork and parking lot expansion and building construction. Construction work may also occur at Willow Park.


Latest update

May 12, 2020— The Department of National Defence issued its Notice of Determination and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
