Centerm Expansion Project - Amendment (Condition 66 - Dredging)

Centerm Expansion Project - Amendment (Condition 66 - Dredging)

The Proposed Project

The Centerm Expansion Project proposes to carry out dredging from February 28 to April 5, 2020 which is outside the Burrard Inlet least-risk window.. This would require an amendment to condition 66 of the approved Centerm Expansion Project (PER No. 15-012-02), which states:

66. There shall be no dredging during the fisheries sensitive period from March 1 to August 15, inclusive. Other in and near water activities described in the application are not affected by this restriction.

The amendment is being requested as a result of project scheduling delays. A report has been provided by an Environmental Professional in support of the proposed amendment that reviews the potential impacts to marine life and the mitigation measures that would be put in place.
