Frog Lake First Nation Water System Project

Frog Lake First Nation is proposing the construction of a new treated water reservoir and pump station and a 17.5 km new regional pipeline from the northern boundary of Frog Lake to the new reservoir and pump station and from the new treated water reservoir to the existing water treatment plan. The project will also include temporary upgrades to the existing water treatment plan and demolition of two old reservoirs (school reservoir and truck fill reservoir).

January 10, 2020 – Indigenous Services Canada intends to make a determination regarding whether the carrying out of the project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting public comments https://iaac-aeic.gc.ca/050/evaluations/document/133601 until February 10, 2020 respecting the determination.
