Pikangikum Remediation

This project involves remediation of petroleum hydrocarbon impacted soil and/or groundwater (through in-and ex-situ treatments) at nine sites in Pikangikum First Nation in an effort to reduce potential environmental and human health risks.


Latest update

February 17th, 2019  – Indigenous Services Canada issued its notice of determination https://www.iaac-aeic.gc.ca/050/evaluations/document/133905?blnPreview=true and determined that the project is not likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects.
