Grazing Permits on Saskatchewan First Nations Reserve Lands

Under s. 28(2) of the Indian Act, permits for Grazing purposes are issued  for Saskatchewan First Nation Reserve Lands at the request of the First Nation community. These are short term permits and are non-exclusive use. Standard mitigation measures are in place for the permits. This posting will cover the period from September 11, 2019 until March 31, 2020.

October 18, 2019 - Indigenous Services Canada intends to make a determination regarding whether the carrying out of the current project is likely to cause significant adverse environmental effects. To help inform this determination, Indigenous Services Canada is inviting public comments https://iaac-aeic.gc.ca/050/evaluations/document/132904 until November 16, 2019 respecting the determination.
