No too the Valentine gold project

The Newfoundland wildlife Division has said in no uncertain terms that this project is a threat to the caribou herds in the area. Canadian caribou herds, including those in Newfoundland and Labrador are in danger of extinction. It has been well documented that mining development in caribou habitat threatens these herds and causes their numbers to dwindle. This project should absolutely not go ahead.
