Concerns about "significant adverse" effects on southern resident killer whales

Good day,

Thank you for the opportunity to submit a comment on the Roberts Bank Terminal 2 Project.

As a long term Metro Vancouver resident I have a spiritual connection to the dwindling population of our southern resident killer whales of which just over 70 remain in the wild.

Approving this expansion is not in the public interest as ensuring that our southern resident killer whales does not continue to decline and thus lead to potential extinction.

The expansion of the Port of Prince Rupert is expanding and can support additional transportation needs to support economic development and supply chain stability.

Sincerely,

Damian Kettlewell
